Anti-Oxidants for your hair
Just like antioxidants in food help you to boost your immune system, slow the ageing process and maintain fresh and wrinkle free skin, they also support the growth of healthy hair. Our bodies are being threatened by free radicals all day long: air pollution, sun, bad food, chemicals,… Counter them with antioxidant rich foods and the right supplements. Eat a colour rich variety in fruit and vegetables like sweet potatoes, bell peppers, carrots, oranges, berries, …
If your body is being supported by them to fight against the ageing effect of free radicals, you will slow down the ageing process, reduce wrinkles and grow and keep healthy locks of hair. Even though I cook up healthy meals, I really believe in the benefits of taking some extra supplements.
Everyday in my supplement regime:
- a multi-vitamin: ‘Two-Per-Day’ from Life Extension (sometimes I take their Life Extension Mix-formula) or ‘Metabolism Multi’, developed by Haylie Pomroy
- 3 to 5 mg of buffered vitamin C (Life Extension)
