21 days to Heal Your hair: day 9: What does happiness have to do with healthy hair?

Welcome on my blog! Thank you for joining me on day 9 of “21 days to heal your hair”.

What does happiness have to do with healthy hair? So many times in our modern world, we forget to get in touch with our own feelings. Now I would like to ask you: “How do you feel? How do you really feel?” When people ask us “how are you”, we tend to always respond that everything is great. I understand this, because it is often a way to keep our own feelings private. Which is ok. But I do feel that it is important to ask yourself how you are doing? To get in touch with your true feelings. It helps me to write about my feelings. So I would like you to write down how you really feel about yourself and the way your life is going. So take a piece of paper or your journal, if you have one, and write it down.
Are you happy? Do you feel rushed? Do you have fears about things that are going on in your life or in the world? Are there things on your mind that bother you: like a situation in your relationship, at work, in your family?
I want you to be completely honest with yourself, what you write down today is totally private and safe. I need you to do this exercise for me, because releasing your feelings helps you to get them out of your system and gives you more clarity on what is weighing upon your shoulders. Every emotion and fear you take with you in your backpack is causing you stress. And stress does have its affect on your health and your hair. So release your thoughts and “take you time” to think about them. It will already feel like a relief. Tomorrow I will show you the power of breathing to reduce stress.
